Thanks Big Pharma: Multitudes of Drug Medications Cause Murder and Homicide Risk Increased by 31% to 200% for 100 Million Americans

""Just as Natural News has warned for over a decade, mind-altering medications such as tranquilizers and psychiatric drugs (SSRIs) have now been confirmed to increase the risk of a person committing murder.

A new study published in the journal World Psychiatry (June 1 edition, not yet found on the web) found that several classes of prescription medications -- including antidepressant drugs, tranquilizers and anti-inflammatory painkillers -- markedly increased the chances of someone murdering another human being.

This link has long been suspect in antidepressants, which have been repeatedly linked to mass school shootings in the United States.

"I think that these chemical substances affect the impulse control of the person," Dr. Jari Tiihonen, lead author and a professor, told Medical Daily. "The only surprising result was that painkillers also increase the risk." 

According to the study's findings:

• Antidepressant drugs increased the risk of committing homicide by 31%.

• Tranquilizers increased the risk of committing homicide by 45%.

• Opioid pain relievers increased the risk of committing homicide by 92%.

• Anti-inflammatory painkillers increased the risk of committing homicide by 200%.

For years, the New Media / Independent Media has been warning about the dangers of psychiatric drugs causing violence. The mainstream media, which now receives as much as 70% of its advertising revenue from drug companies, has all but censored this story, largely ignoring the mass deaths taking place right in our local communities.

Is Big Pharma contributing to the wave of homicidal violence sweeping America?

America is presently experiencing a massive crime wave, with gangs running loose in the streets of cities like Baltimore and Chicago. The number of shootings that took place in Baltimore over just the Memorial Day weekend -- 32 -- is larger than the total number of shootings that take place in an entire year in many other countries.

In the month of May alone, there were 300 shootings in Chicago, with 35 deaths.

Here's the question of the day: How many people in Baltimore and Chicago are on antidepressant drugs? How many are taking anti-inflammatory painkillers? How many people who participated in the recent riots were operating with medicated brains? What role does medication play in the escalating violence now spiraling out of control across many of America's cities? (A medicated population is not a rational population... where will this lead next?)

Gun control advocates point to firearms as the cause of such violence, but the logic doesn't pan out. Guns don't shoot by themselves. (I tried it with a magic wand over and over, and I could never get my rifle to fire unless I deliberately pulled the trigger.) Firearms require a person to make a decision in order to unleash a high-velocity bullet in the direction of an intended target. That decision-making process is precisely what's compromised by mind-altering medications. SSRIs can push some people over the edge, causing them to illegally use a firearm in a way its manufacturer never intended. In much the same way, someone can drink a lot of alcohol and use a vehicle to commit mass homicide, too. Both of these are chemically induced homicides using mechanical tools (cars or guns) which were never meant to kill innocent people.

What they both have in common is inhibited cognitive function caused by chemicals. "Medicated driving" is just as dangerous as "drunk driving..." and possibly even more so.

Pharma-funded media tries to downplay link between SSRIs and homicide

The mainstream media is predictably trying to downplay the increased risk homicidal behavior among people medicated with antidepressants, claiming a 31% increased risk is only a "slight" risk. Of course, this is the same media that, if presented with a press release from the CDC claiming unvaccinated children had a 31% increased risk of contracting measles in Disneyland, would be screaming bloody murder and causing a nationwide infectious disease panic. "Thirty-one percent increased risk!! Get your damn kids vaccinated!"

Example of the total dismissal of the risk factors documented in the study: "When asked about the practical implications of these findings, Tiihonen said that people should not be worried about the risk of violence associated with antidepressant use," reportsLiveScience.com, which also downplays any link between antidepressant drugs and violence.

Why, exactly, should we not be worried about medicated people committing mass murder? Maybe because that worry would call into question all the lies we've been told about drug safety by the FDA and Big Pharma.

Even if the increased risk seems small on an individual basis, you have tens of millions of Americans taking these drugs. A small risk multiplied by tens of millions of people results in the inevitability of a drug-induced homicide or mass murder... much like what we saw in Columbine, Colorado, and other school shootings. According to CDC statistics, almost 30 million Americans aged 12 and over are now taking antidepressant medications. That's 30 million would-be killers... ticking time bombs of violence if the drugs trigger homicidal violence in their brains.

There are almost a hundred million more people who take anti-inflammatory painkillers, too, according to this Consumer Reports document. On top of that, there are presentlyabout 60 million prescriptions written each year for tranquilizer-class medications. Clearly, we're talking about more than one-third of Americans taking these risky medicationsthat can cause homicidal behavior. That's not a small deal by any measure.

Furthermore, both the government and mainstream media have loudly raised the alarm on many other issues that pose a far smaller risk of public harm than psychiatric drugs. For example:

• There is virtually zero risk of being harmed or attacked by a terrorist anywhere in the United States. Yet the entire Patriot Act surveillance state / TSA / police state / militarized police infrastructure that has been put into place since 2001 was based on the heavily marketed fear that terrorists were hiding around every corner, waiting to kill us all. In truth,almost no one in America has even seen a terrorist, much less been killed by one.

• There is almost ZERO risk that a healthy, unvaccinated child exposed to measles will be killed by measles. Even in the heavily propagandized Disneyland outbreak, not a single child died. Some got the measles, built their own immune system antibodies, and recovered naturally.""

Internal Documents Show TSA Agents Regularly Assault and Grope Americans as Found Through Freedom of Information Act Request

We hate to say, "We told ya so," but if we in the alternative media don't point out our triumphs, nobody else will, and certainly nobody in the mainstream media: The Transportation Security Administration is a rogue agency filled with miscreants, criminals and perverts who make more of an effort to, and take more pleasure in, making the traveling public miserable than in protecting them from "terrorism."

As noted by InfoWars.com, documents obtained under a Freedom of Information Act request filed by a government watchdog organization show that TSA-caused sexual abuse is still rife around the nation, "with Americans complaining of being sexually harassed and groped while screeners laugh and sneer at them."

We've been on to the TSA all along

The documents were uncovered by Judicial Watch (JW), a Washington, D.C.-based organization that filed a lawsuit last year for more information related to alleged TSA sexual abuse.

In all, JW received 58 pages of material containing passenger complaints from 2013 alone. Alleged sexual assaults were documented at Dulles International Airport in Washington, Chicago's O'Hare International Airport, Denver International Airport, Miami International Airport and Los Angeles International Airport.

The president of JW, Tom Fitton, observed that in order to get a hold of the documents the legal accountability watchdog had to fight, indicating that "the TSA is more interested in a cover-up than in addressing the problem that its employees violate innocent travelers too often, sexually or otherwise."

According to the documents, here are a few of the cases cited:

July 5, 2013, "TSA Contact Center Record," O'Hare Airport:

The female TSO [Transportation Safety Officer] then proceeded to roughly feel of [sic] her breast including her nipples. The TSO didn't go under her arms or along her sides. She indicated that she did not receive a proper pat down. The search was limited to her breast... Two other individuals came over to where the supervisor and gentleman were and they began laughing. The caller indicated that the incident was not the business of the other two officers and not a show for them. The caller indicated that even the Supervisor, along with the others, began to roar with laughter.

July 29, 2013, "To/From Memo," O'Hare Airport:

The person began to tell me how TSO [redacted] stuck his hands down his pants and grabbed the top of his penis and placed his fingers in his butt crack... The person was sure that he was violated and wanted to talk to a supervisor.... He said he is going to file a police report with Chicago Police Department and file a lawsuit against TSA and Officer [redacted] and walked away.

6,000 Stores Closing Nation Wide as Retail Chains Start to Collapse

""The long feared “retail apocalypse” may be hitting with little or no fanfare if a growing list of store-closing plans by major chains is any indication.

Major U.S. retailers have announced the closing of more than 6,000 stores from coast to coast. The list includes only those retailers that have announced plans to close more than 10 outlets this year and next.

For example, 1,784 Radio Shack stores are vanishing, 400 stores in the Office Depot/Office Max chain by 2016, and 340 Dollar Tree/Family Dollar stores.

The growing list of stores getting shuttered coincides with the decline in discretionary consumer spending over the past six months.

“Expect to see more storefronts closed at malls across the country,” one retail watcher told WND. “It’s getting ugly out there.”

NATO's Ukraine Agenda Could Instigate Next World War

""Washington planned and implemented Kiev’s coup. Obama admitted US “broker(ing) a deal to transition power in Ukraine.”

Code language for ousting democratically elected President Viktor Yanukovych. Replacing him with neo-Nazi mob rule.

In December 2013, Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Victoria Nuland told Washington-based National Press Club members:

“Since Ukraine’s independence in 1991, the United States..invested over $5 billion to assist Ukraine in needs and other goals.”

Code language for regime change. She was Obama’s point person involved in stoking last year’s Maidan violence.

Caught red-handed urging regime change on tape. Her conversation with US Ukraine ambassador Geoffrey Pyatt was recorded.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov commented on Obama’s rhetoric. Saying it provided clear proof of US direct involvement in last February’s coup.

It “demonstrates Washington’s intention to continue every kind of support to the Kiev government, which apparently intends to end the conflict through violence,” said Lavrov.

On the one hand, US officials urge peaceful conflict resolution. On the other, they support Kiev’s dirty war.

Russian Academy of Science politician/economist Sergey Glazyev believes Washington intends “wag(ing) the battle for leadership until the last Ukrainian.’ ”

It “chose Ukraine as a tool (for) attacking Europe and Russia.”

“Launching a world war is necessary for the Americans in order to preserve their hegemony in the world through strengthening control over Europe by imposing the Trans-Atlantic free trade agreement; establishing control over Russia and Middle East, thus expanding their competitive advantage in the battle for leadership with the Asian countries,” said Glazyev.

America’s scheme “is doomed for defeat,” he believes. Multi-world polarity won’t let US plans succeed.

Great dangers remain. Washington is “starting a war in Europe against” Russia.

It’s “the main victim” of America’s strategy. There’s “no reason to (expect resolution) in the next few years.”

Every reason to expect greater conflict. America challenging Russia politically, economically and militarily risks WW III.

Oleg Tsarov is a former Ukraine parliamentary Party of Regions people’s deputy/current Novorossiya leader.

He calls Washington’s Kiev embassy a hotbed of intrigue and subversion.

Believes US “puppet-masters” together with national security/defense council chief Oleksandr Turchinov, prime minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk and oligarch Igor Kolomoysky want president Petro Poroshenko ousted.

He has business interests in Russia he wants protected. He may negotiate peace in Donbas to do it, Tsarov believes.

Successful conflict resolution will enhance his stature. He’d “become the second most important political figure in Ukraine.”

US ambassador Geoffrey Pyatt runs things for his bosses in Washington.

They want war. So do Kiev hardliners. Tsarov believes Poroshenko wants a coalition government without Yatsenyuk, who, in turn, wants Poroshenko ousted.

Kolomoysky needs refinancing for his troubled businesses. Not forthcoming from Kiev.

Donbas military defeats turned Washington against Poroshenko. Kiev hardliners want him ousted.

“The stakes are very high,” said Tsarov. Much more than wealth and power. US-directed Kiev long knives may kill him.

Yatsenyuk met with other hardliners. “(T)asked them with organizing an information (war on) Poroshenko,” Tsarov explained.

Step one toward removing him. “He must be made (to) appear” responsible for Ukrainian crisis conditions.

“There is no reason for optimism.” Washington has lots of options. “(A) whole slew of” pro-US political stooges were enlisted.

“There are no non-pro-US politicians capable of coming to power,” said Tsarov.

“The bench is well protected and will implement the will of the US.”

At the same time, Kiev’s Donbas military campaign proved disastrous. Rebels keep routing its forces.

Multiple mobilizations aren’t going as planned. Increasing thousands refuse conscription.

Many thousands more are deserting. Wanting no part of Kiev’s dirty war. Kiev military forces are in disarray.

“The road from Donetsk to Kiev is full of vehicles, nationalists…fleeing (on) foot. Something similar is taking place in Mariupol,” said Tsarov.

Junta forces are surrounded in Debaltsevo. They got a choice to surrender or die.

Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) Prime Minister Alexander Zakharchenko announced full mobilization.

He expects a 100,000-strong volunteer force to be enlisted. Achieving it will give rebels a greater advantage over Ukraine’s military than already.

A well-armed, committed self-defense force against an underachieving, ineffective, increasingly unwilling to fight Kiev military.""
